Description
This tour explores Pier Luigi Nervi’s work in Australia, focusing on the fruitful collaboration between Nervi and Harry Seidler. The tour will include an exclusive preview of the exhibition “Design in Italy, Made in Australia: The Australian Work of Pier Luigi Nervi” as well as visits to the impressive buildings that emerged from the collaboration, such as Australia Square and the MLC Centre.

Paolo Stracchi is the curator of “Design in Italy, Made in Australia: The Australian Work of Pier Luigi Nervi.” He is an Architectural Engineer and Lecturer in Architectural Technology at the School of Architecture, Design and Planning of the University of Sydney.
TOUR NOTES
1.45pm meet in the Tin Sheds Gallery at the School of Architecture, Design and Planning at the University of Sydney, for a 2pm start. The tour finishes at the MLC Centre in central Sydney.
